I never watched a JDrama before or got the idea I had to try, but when I noticed that Prisoner of Love by 宇多田ヒカル became the opening theme of Last Friends I watched the trailer and was very interested. That time there were no subtitles available on D-Addicts and therefor I catched up for related information. A JDrama came into my mind that is called Nodame Cantabile and I read about it at Kaji’s blog some times before. I get to know that the JDrama is a live action version based on the same called Manga. I was very interested in the live action, even if I’m not interested in Manga or Anime.
In the end I watched all 11 epsiodes and the first special. (I also have the 2nd special, but I don’t want to end this … even if Chiaki and Nodame will kiss *__*) I fell in love with Nodame Cantabile from the very beginning and I enjoy watching it. I’m really glad that I found out about this.
Edit: I was really suprised and glad that my favorite actors and actresses from Nodame have major roles in Last Friends, such as 上野樹里 (Ueto Juri), 瑛太 Eita) and 水川あさみ (Mizikawa Asami).
